Since we've been discussing the eye of the eagle this past week, I thought it was a good time to tell you in how the eagle eye helps us identify the male from the female. 
Notice in this photo (from Norfolk website) that the female beak extends to the back of the eye and the male's beak stops at the pupil. Also, if you look at the depth of the beak, the female's beak is deeper from top to bottom than the male. 
The female's head is also larger, because the female is the larger of the two birds. :) Fun stuff

a prosethetic wing for my ring that lost the wing years ago

  I took this ring to my Jewelry and he put on a new wing I kid and say it a prosthetic wing now being it not the original  I love it  the detail he did and only TEN DOLLARS what a great deal  He does all my work and I have gotten him lots of referrals   It was the back wing that snapped of and I never found the wing so he designed this one  COOL BEANS HUH

I did not see the second eagle until I got home and looked at the pictures  darn it I wish I would have see it on the other side and gotten a better picture of both  Next time I will look all around it LOL ♥
